Yampa River Float

Water level permitting, we'd like to invite anyone who has arrived and is interested to join us for a leisurely float down the Yampa. We have used Backdoor Sports in the past. They charge $25/person and provide the tube, life jacket, and shuttle ride back into town. More details and confirmation to come sooner to the date.

Gondola Loading for the Ceremony

Ceremony to take place on the lawn in front of Thunderhead Lodge at the top of Mt. Werner. Take the scenic "Steamboat Gondola" from Steamboat Square up to Thunderhead Lodge. Gondola loading for the wedding will begin at 5pm. We ask all guests to be at the base of the mountain, ready to load the gondola at 5pm to arrive at the ceremony on time. Wedding Ceremony & Reception

"Colorado Cocktail" attire. No jeans please. The ceremony is on grass on the lawn in front of Thunderhead Lodge, so maybe rethink stilettos.
Following the ceremony, please join us for a cocktail hour and reception in the Champagne Powder Room at Thunderhead Lodge. Thunderhead Lodge sits at 9,080' in elevation, please drink plenty of water and plan accordingly!
