Question
What’s the dress code?
Answer
Black tie is welcomed, but optional. We would love for this to be a formal event—long dresses for the ladies and tuxedos or suits with ties for the men. Please note: all events will be held indoors, and there will be a coat check available at the reception. If the weather is nice, the terrace will be open during cocktail hour for anyone who wishes to step outside.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Both the Church ceremony and the reception have a parking lot. However, it is our recommendation that you forgo driving to enjoy your night. Transportation will be provided back downtown and Ubers and Lyfts are easily accessible for those going elsewhere.

What will the weather be like?
Answer
For November 8th, the average low is 37 degrees and average high is 53 degrees. There will be coat check at the reception and all events will be held indoors. If the weather is nice, an outdoor terrace at the reception will be open if guests wish to go outside.

What time should we be seated for the wedding?
Answer
We are requesting that you please are seated at the Church by 3:15 to ensure the ceremony can smoothly begin.

Will transportation be provided?
Answer
We will be providing transportation to and from the wedding day events. *check back for times of departures and exact meeting location* Buses will depart from two downtown locations: Hotel Zachary and downtown on Michigan Ave. If you are not staying at one of these hotels but would like to use the transportation, please plan to arrive at either hotel in time for the scheduled departure to the church at a designated time. Following the ceremony, transportation will also be provided for the short 9-minute drive from Winnetka Congregational Church to Skokie Country Club for the reception. Return shuttles will depart the reception and head back to both downtown hotels at 11:30 PM and 12:00 AM. Please be sure to indicate your transportation plans on the RSVP form We want to make getting to and from the celebration as easy and enjoyable as possible!

Can I bring a plus one or kids?
Answer
We are so excited to celebrate with our closest family and friends! Please note that due to venue capacity limitations, and only those who are specifically named on the formal invitation and those found on the RSVP page are invited. Additionally, we have decided to make our wedding an adult-only celebration. We love your little ones, but due to space constraints and the nature of the event, we kindly ask that you make arrangements for childcare. We hope you understand and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
