Old Town is a Historic State park located next to Presidio Park. This area was the original San Diego and was founded in 1769 by Gaspar de Portolá. Today, it is home to some of the best Mexican Restaurants, street markets, and oldest shops and stalls in San Diego. If you want fresh handmade tortillas, this is the place to go!
North Park is (in our opinion) one of the most fun places to go in San Diego. It is home to many breweries, concert venues, and bars for an amazing night out. It is also where Lucy lived prior to moving to Claremont. We have so many great recommendations for the area but a few favorites are: Encontro, Seven Grand Whiskey Lounge, and The Smoking Goat.
The World Famous San Diego Zoo! View hundreds of animals, as well as the newly designed Africa Rocks exhibit. There is also the Wild Animal Park (located in Escondido) where you can interact with Giraffes! Both are great places to get away from the city and enjoy petting zoos and wildlife.
