A bit of a ride. But worth it. Stellar steaks and seafood. Lucy’s favorite restaurant ever. If you can save room for dessert get the apple pie with cinnamon ice cream.

A cocktail and cigar lounge. A Sudekum staple. Also where we celebrated our engagement with friends.

Plenty of energy with big crowds and lots of dancing.
Venice Café
Great outdoor patio for drinks and appetizers. Lots of live music here and super cool mosaic art bar.
PBR St Louis: A Cowboy Bar
A cowboy bar next to Busch Stadium with mechanical bulls and a southern-style menu.
4 Hands Brewing Co
One of St. Louis' most popular breweries. Brewer's of some of our favorite beers: City Wide Pale Ale and Single Speed.
Urban Chestnut Grove Brewery and Bierhall

Chandler Hill Vineyards
Head into Missouri wine country to see the lovely landscapes and listen to live music. If you’d like to bundle your trip with another winery, you can also stop at Defiance Ridge Vineyards. For some local Defiance culture, you can swing through Defiance Roadhouse for a bite to eat (and a look at a collection of marvelous taxidermy squirrels).
Missouri Botanical Garden
A gorgeous place for a walk.
Forest Park
This central park features the Art Museum, the History Museum, the World’s Fair Pavilion, the St. Louis Zoo and a public golf course. If you’re feeling ambitious, it’s a fun jog from one site to the next.
Lewis and Clark Trail
A running and hiking trail in Defiance with a beautiful overlook of the Missouri River. There are 5- and 8-mile loops.
Matson Hill Trail
Another running and hiking trail in Defiance with beautiful creek crossings.
Sumits Hot Yoga St. Louis
A challenging but revitalizing hot yoga class. Lucy’s favorite spot.
City Museum
This is more of a playhouse than a museum. Home to tunnels, a rooftop circus and a mid-air jungle made with multiple repurposed airplanes. Fun for adults and children. Maybe even more fun for adults than children.
St. Louis Arch/Riverfront
Ride to the top of “The Gateway to the West.” If you make your way to the arch, Citygarden Sculpture Park is worth your while, too (but it’s outdoors).
