We feel strongly that all of our guests are vaccinated against COVID (and boosted per most recent CDC recommendations). Our goal is to ensure all our guests are as safe as possible if we are asking them to gather to celebrate us. If this is something you feel you cannot do, please contact Lucy directly.
Yes, the ceremony and reception will be fully outdoors. The Worlds Fair Pavilion is a beautiful Spanish style pavilion built for the 1904 World's Fair. It has overhead coverage from weather and plenty of air flow. The majority of the event (ceremony and reception) will take place on solid ground but there may be some spillover onto the grass for cocktail hour, so please choose shoes accordingly.
Yup. It was truly heartbreaking to cancel our original 2020 wedding, but we knew it was right to wait 2 years to celebrate safely with all of you. We got legally married on June 18, 2021 with our parents, siblings, maid of honor, best man, and our officiant, uncle Rick. It was time. We hope that people are not too offended by not being there in person. One thing that made the past few years more bearable has been the idea of getting all the people we love together in one place to celebrate with us. We hope you can join us for an epic celebration of love and happiness in 2022!
