Harry and Lucy were neighbors in their Fordham dorm. They fast became friends. They sat through classes together in the honors room, shared meals in the (terrible) Ram Café, joined the student newspaper, and invented a drinking game that would probably kill them today. Harry developed a crush on Lucy. Lucy did not reciprocate. Harry was sad, but moved on. Harry and Lucy went through college as best friends. They ate their way across NYC, hung out in Paris and London during study abroad, suffered through commencement with monumental hangovers. Lucy dated; Harry did too ... eventually. Both were grateful to have a best friend to vent to on park benches in Harlem. Harry moved to the Midwest for some self-edification and education. They kept in touch, went on road trips. The first was fun; the second proved fateful. Harry and Lucy finally finally fell in love somewhere around Lake Michigan. Things moved quickly after that. Harry moved back to New York after journalism school. Two months and two sublets later, he took up residence with Lucy and her roommate of seven years, bridesmaid Liz. Three years and one cat, Aloe, later, Harry proposed to Lucy back where it all began, the Fordham honors room. Then COVID struck. Harry and Lucy made their home into a micro-office with a conference (bed)room. They supported many local breweries and binge-watched a lot. They failed to raise a sourdough starter but successfully adopted a dog, Banjo. They bought a car. Then, after 12 months of testing, isolating, social distancing, and mask-wearing, they got vaccinated and started planning their big wedding for 2021. They're excited to see you there!
...to help Harry and Lucy celebrate the best way they know how: with good food and abundant booze, surrounded by friends and family.
