Flight
For those guests flying in, you have the option to fly directly to Traverse City. This can often mean a higher ticket price, but could simplify your travel day. The airport in Traverse is pretty small and incredibly easy to navigate.

A great option can be to fly into Grand Rapids and rent a car, then drive to Maple City. This drive is about 2.5 hours, but the flight itself will likely be significantly cheaper. We recommend this option to anyone who doesn't mind a bit of a drive, and especially to those who want to team up and carpool together! For the adventurous - flights into Detroit are far more plentiful, quite affordable, and direct no matter where you're flying from, though the drive will be longer - about 4 hours. Another great option if you're down for a mini road trip and want to carpool with some friends.
