5:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Dress Code: as casual as your heart desires
Join us for a Michigan hot dog & sweet corn cookout at Anchor Inn, followed by some karaoke and a bonfire on the Inn's private beach. Is it a rehearsal dinner? Not really. Is it an excuse to all get together the night before the wedding to eat brats, play some music, and compete in high-stakes cornhole? Absolutely. We will provide Gabe's Hot Dogs & Brats, Veggie Dogs, Salad, and Sweet Corn, as well as beer & seltzer (hard & N/A). If you'd like to bring any additional food for the grill & drinks for the coolers, feel free!
4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Dress Code: Garden Party, Semi-Formal - Embrace bold colors and fun patterns, and most importantly - be comfortable! It will be outdoors in August in northern Michigan, so light fabrics, low/chunky heels or flat shoes are recommended (no stilettos!)
The ceremony will be held outdoors at Lucky's family's farm. There will be signs along S Maple City Road indicating where to park and where to go for the ceremony. Feel free to arrive any time between 3:15-4:00pm, as there will be welcome drinks available before the ceremony begins.
5:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Following the ceremony, there will be a reception, which will include dinner, games, and dancing. We'll close out the night with a celebratory bonfire. NOTE: If you are staying at Anchor Inn, there will be three buses taking folks from the farm back to the Inn, departing at 9:00pm, 10:00pm, and 11:00pm.
11:00 am - 8:00 pm
For those of you staying through the weekend, there will be a brunch hosted by Lucky's parents at the farm at 11am. Following brunch, we will likely hit up a beach, then watch the sunset at Sleeping Bear Dunes in Glen Haven.
