FAQs

We’re so excited to celebrate with you! Below are a few helpful details to make the weekend as seamless (and fun) as possible. We’ll continue to update and add information as needed, so feel free to check back. And if you have any additional questions, don’t hesitate to reach out!
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is formal attire. Think elegant, fun, and celebration-ready!

Question

Will the event be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We’re planning for a short outdoor ceremony in the gardens at The English Manor. Cocktail hour will be a mix of indoor and outdoor, and the reception will take place indoors. All plans are weather dependent, so we recommend bringing a light jacket or shawl for the ceremony. A coat check will be available on-site.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’ve carefully planned our day to celebrate with our closest family and friends. For that reason, only guests who are named on the invitation or those whose invitation is addressed “—and Guest” are able to attend.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we absolutely love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. Think of it as a well-deserved date night, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We have secured a hotel block for our guests just 5 minutes from The English Manor. Please refer to the 'Travel' section for booking details and information.

Question

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of on-site parking available at The English Manor.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the host hotel to The English Manor?

Answer

Shuttles will be provided for guests staying at Residence Inn Ocean. More details will be shared in the 'Travel' section as we get closer to the wedding.

Question

Why was there a little penguin drawing on my Save the Date?

Answer

The penguin is Kurt’s signature touch - he’s been drawing them since middle school and hasn’t stopped. You can consider yourself the proud owner of a piece of his original artwork!
