Phillip and Mary Grace met in college, where their relationship began and quickly turned into something serious. Shortly after, they moved into their first apartment together and welcomed their dog, Basil. Now two years old, Basil is incredibly loved, extremely spoiled, and the undisputed center of their world, which everyone who knows them will happily point out. After more than three years of dating, Phillip (finally!) proposed during what Mary Grace thought was just a holiday outing with her family. She attended a Holiday Tea at Hermitage Farms with her sisters, mom, and grandmother, a place that already held special meaning since her sister Sarah was married there in 2016. When the tea wrapped up, her sisters suggested heading to the greenhouse for photos. What Mary Grace did not know was that Phillip was waiting inside. With light snow falling outside and family close by, Phillip asked Mary Grace to marry him, and she said yes.
