Typically cheaper than a hotel, but options may be limited, especially in August. Book well in advance! Homestay: We know Victoria is expensive! Please reach out if you are interested in staying with a family member of Luc or Sasha. Space is limited, however, so you should be prepared to camp outside in the backyard if selecting this option :)
WHEN YOU FIRST ARRIVE From the airport: There is no direct bus or public transport connection from the airport to downtown Victoria. Taxis are available or let us know if you need a ride and we will do our best :) From the ferry: There is a direct bus to downtown Victoria from the ferry terminal at Swartz Bay GETTING AROUND By foot/bike: Victoria is very bikeable and walkable. Consider renting a bike for your stay. By bus: BC Transit - pay by card on board. By car: For sightseeing beyond Victoria, a rental car is advised. Uber or taxis are also available for trips in the city.

The wedding will have a dressy casual atmosphere - think cocktail attire. We will be be dressed up and we invite you to join us in that, but jackets are optional as we know it might be hot. We love earthy tones and linen so feel free to take this as inspiration.

We will enjoy a selection of canapes served by Swans Pub. The chef has been informed of dietary restrictions. We will provide drink tickets.
The short wedding ceremony will take place at Songhees Point, close to the reception venue. After, we will walk to Swans Pub for the reception, followed by a party in the penthouse suite and rooftop at the hotel. Please check the Schedule page for more information.
We recommend arriving by a form of transport other than a car. If you need to drive, paid parking is available in the Yates Street Parkade. Please don’t drink and drive.
Your presence is the best gift and we are so happy we get to celebrate with so many friends and family. Please do not feel obligated to get us anything. If you would like to give a gift, consider a cash contribution towards our future together.
We have already collected your RVSP for the wedding ceremony and reception. We will reach out again a few weeks before to confirm your attendance for whale watching Wednesday, the beach on Thursday, and Saturday for the BBQ. In case you cannot make it in the end, please let us know.
