1:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Note: It can be cold on the water! So dress in layers
We will start the day with a whale watching tour courtesy of Eagle Wing, then head for drinks and appetizers at the Bent Mast (512 Simcoe Street). We have arranged a discount code (SASHA30) to get 30% off the 2pm sailing on August 26th. Seats are limited and may sell out. Book here if you would like to join (self-paid). https://eaglewingtours.com/ If you would prefer to join us after the tour, that's fine too. After the tour ends a 5pm, we will head to The Bent Mast (self-paid).
6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
This event is BYOB! We will order Pizza. Please RSVP so we know how many pizzas. Lets gather at Dallas to catch some evening sun and watch the sunset. Note that the cell-service is spotty on the beach as we sometimes get interference from our southern neighbours.
4:00 pm - 4:30 pm
The big day! We will meet for a short outdoor ceremony at Songhees Point, before walking 15 minutes together to Swans for dinner. We recommend arriving a few minutes early. Songhees Point (p’álәc’әs) is near to 50 Songhees Road (walk down to the water).
5:00 pm - 11:45 pm
After the ceremony, we will walk to Swans Pub for dinner. Dinner will be approximately 3 hours, after which we will go next door to the hotel for the reception. The reception will be held in the penthouse suite on the top floor. The hotel reception desk will check us in as we arrive from dinner. Note that the restaurant is separate from the hotel. We will provide drink tickets at dinner, followed by an open bar at the reception after. Additional drinks with dinner can be purchased at the restaurant directly. While the party will end at midnight, you are welcome to hit the town after.
3:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Beach wear or dress for the weather.
We plan to hangout at the beach Saturday afternoon. If you are still in town, feel free to join! We will have some light snacks and refreshments to share. The beach is accessible by public transit.
