Parking

There is limited parking available at the top of the hill. We would like to reserve these spots for guests who will need support accessing the property. All other guests are encouraged to park at the Douglas Mountain Parking Lot located down the dirt road on the left coming up Douglas Mountain Rd. (There is a sign.) You can walk up the road to Windfall or coordinate carpooling. Sam and Lucile are happy to help!

If you are traveling from out of town on public transportation, we highly recommend renting car upon arrival in Maine. Public transportation services of any kind, including car services, are extremely limited and if available can be cost prohibitive. The Portland International Jetport has multiple car rental agencies to chose from.

There is a plentiful supply of affordable and charming Airbnb's in our area or nearby towns of Bridgton, Cornish, Hiram, Baldwin, Denmark, and Brownfield. If you are interested in visiting Portland there are plenty of nice apartment Airbnb rentals, and prices should be more reasonable after the peak season.
