Our Story Lucie always dreamed of her romcom love story, and Timothy delivered that and then some! We first met on March 14th, 2020, at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), where Timothy used to work. What started as a free tour for Lucie quickly turned into a special place Lucie and Timothy would spend most weekends at during the AFL season. From our first official date, hiking in the Dandenong Ranges, to living on opposite sides of the world, something special seemed to bring us back together three years later. Lucie never stopped thinking of Timothy, and Timothy never stopped thinking of her. Most people in Lucie’s life knew Timothy by the nickname, “my future Australian lawyer husband,” while the people in Timothy’s life knew her as “the girl who left me toilet paper during COVID.” Lucie loves baking, watching sports, and traveling, while Timothy loves cooking, watching sports, and traveling too. It’s safe to say we make a pretty good team in the kitchen and know how to stay entertained in our free time! Together, we balance each other in the best ways and keep each other laughing every step of the way! Once Lucie chose to return to Melbourne in early 2023, Timothy couldn’t help but show up the second weekend she was there and meet her moms. Immediately, Lucie and Timothy both knew nothing would be able to keep them apart. We attended countless concerts together, spent our weekends hiking, and attended any and all sporting events possible. Lucie was quickly inducted as a Hawthorn supporter, and Timothy learned to love women's soccer. After years of begging for her dream Mt. Hood wedding, Timothy finally popped the question back in the Dandenong Ranges, where it all began 5 years prior. We cannot wait to celebrate the next chapter of our lives surrounded by the people we love most!
