Train
There are two main train stations in Paris from which you can travel to Nantes: Gare Montparnasse and Paris Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport. We recommend taking the TGV, a high-speed train, as it's the fastest and most comfortable option. If you're departing from Charles de Gaulle Airport, the train journey takes around 3.5 to 4 hours. Be sure to allow time for immigration, baggage claim, and reaching the train station at Terminal 2. If you're staying in Paris, leaving from Gare Montparnasse is more convenient. The trip from there takes about 2 hours and 15 minutes to 3 hours.
Flight
If you are flying into Aéroport Nantes Atlantique, there is a shuttle system that is easy to use and inexpensive that will take you into the center of the city. Tickets are 10€ and can be purchased at the airport. It will drop you off at the train station, Le Lieu Unique, or the Hotel Dieu, which are centrally located in the city. If you choose not to take the shuttle, Uber and taxis are available.
