FAQs

Question

Do you have a room block at a hotel?

Answer

We do! Our room block is at the Hilton Mystic. See the "Accommodations" page for more information.

Question

What time should I arrive at The Kingdom of the Hawk Vineyard?

Answer

Guest arrival is between 4 and 4:30PM. We're doing things a little differently where we'll be hosting a cocktail hour before a brief ceremony at 5:30. So if you arrive at 4:15pm, don't worry, you won't miss a thing!

Question

Are children invited to the wedding at Kingdom of the Hawk Vineyard?

Answer

We love all of your little ones, but the event at Kingdom of the Hawk is an adults-only affair. Kiddos are welcome to the events on Friday and Sunday!

Question

Is there parking at the Kingdom of the Hawk Vineyard?

Answer

There is plenty of parking at the Kingdom of the Hawk. If you'd like a lift, there will also be shuttles to the vineyard leaving at 3:45 and 4:15 from the Hilton Mystic.

Question

What will the wedding ceremony be like?

Answer

We're doing things a little differently! Our ceremony will take place after cocktail hour at Kingdom of the Hawk Vinyard as brief 'I do's.' It will be short and sweet, but still meaningful. Since the ceremony will take place between cocktail hour and dinner, we won't have an aisle or traditional seating and you'll get to see the bride early as you enjoy drinks and apps.

Question

What should I wear for the weekend? What about shoes?

Answer

Welcome drinks and the farewell breakfast are casual. The event at Kingdom of the Hawk is cocktail attire - festive and fun! There is a little space to wander outside if you like, but there will be no need to walk over grass (wet or dry) if you don't want. Bring whatever footwear you like the most!

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Average highs in May in North Stonington are in the mid-60s. Cocktail hour is planned to be outside under a canopy, so consider bringing a light jacket! Reception and dancing are indoors.

Question

What food will be served at the wedding?

Answer

We will be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour, followed by plated dinner service. Dietary restrictions will be accommodated.
