Thank you for wanting to support us and contribute to our life! The next year will be full of growth in many ways, especially on the farm. Instead of asking for material gifts, we ask that you contribute funds to critical farm projects. Please make checks out to Lucia Tonachel & Jeremy Read. Any financial support will go directly towards purchases including:
- A DRIFT OF PIGLETS: one piglet is about $85, we'll add 15 next spring
- A FLOCK OF LAMBS: one lamb is about $60, we'll add ~20 next spring
- NEW GREENHOUSE PLASTIC: about $1000
- FENCING: semi-permanent high tensile wire and wood post fencing is between $4-8 per foot; we'll fence 20 acres this coming year
- HAY: one cow eats ~ $7 of hay and feed per day for 6 to 8 months of the year, ~ $800 for the winter per cow
- MEDICINAL PERENNIALS & FRUIT TREES: investing in perennials and building biodiversity, $30+ / tree
