Question

Is there parking available on site?

Answer

Yes! As you enter the park, simply mention the "Godber/Diedrich Wedding" and you will be given a pass into the state park. Parking is available near the venue. (note: 100 free passes will be granted, so maybe consider carpooling into the park if you know other friends or family attending... plus, carpooling is environmentally kind... win-win!)

Where exactly is the ceremony? the reception?

Answer

The ceremony will be in the meadow adjacent to the State Game Lodge (you'll see everything set up!). The reception is in the barn near the meadow, and the cocktail hour will be on the patio/lawn of the barn!

How early should we arrive before the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 4pm! It is open seating and the first couple rows will be reserve for immediate family, grandparents, aunts, and uncles. We plan on being punctual and starting at 4pm, so being seated 10-15min prior would be ideal.

Will there be food?

Answer

Yes! Immediately after the ceremony we will have a cocktail hour with drinks and snacks, prior to the full dinner provided by the amazing Game Lodge Restaurant!

Do we need to bring cash?

Answer

Maybe- we will be providing several beer kegs and wine, but there will also be a cash bar for cocktails of your choice.

Will the happy couple be around the morning after if we want to say goodbye?!

Answer

Yes! No 4am honeymoon flights for this crew.... we will be around the morning after and would love to see you before you leave!

Should we bring gifts?

Answer

Please know your presence is more than enough!! If you'd like to so kindly provide a gift, we are registered through our site (here!! See "Registry" tab at the top), and you can either ship it straight to us in Colorado, or ship it to you and bring it along. We will also have a basket for cards at the front of the reception venue.

Any transportation provided?

Answer

For those of you staying in town (Custer) and not in the park, Uber is available in the area! Please be smart if you choose to drink!!

Do you have a wedding hashtag?!

Answer

Heck yes we do! Please use #OhMyGodber with any posts you make from the weekend so we can see all the fun things our guests are doing!

I'm extended family... do I need to be aware of any group photos?

Answer

Yes! Immediately after the ceremony, we will do a big group photo with both Luke's side and Devin's families while other guests head to cocktail hour at the barn. The photography (Cassie), Becca Godber, and Mat Diedrich will help rally the troops so we can get this done ASAP!
