Ava is traveling to be with us from Mequon, WI! She has known the bride since Sophie was six! Ava and Sophie have an abundance of memories from manual labor at the See household to Sophie convincing Ava to ask her parents to have a sleepover instead of her. Unfortunately the bride's father had just as easy of a time saying no to Ava.

Bonnie is traveling to be with us from Nashville, TN! She met the bride in basic training and they also attended Officer Candidate School together. They bonded over lack of food and sleep and managed to find joy in little things every day.

Brooke is traveling to be with us from Pennsylvania! She attended basic training, Officer Candidate School, and Military Police Basic Officer Leadership Course with the Bride. They actually did not like each other at first... but look at them now!

Liam Lawless

Luke met Liam in 2017 through military training. I guess they bonded well, because 8 years, two companies, a sailboat, and an airplane later, they still enjoy bickering about geopolitics and getting in over their heads in projects. While he is Luke’s Best Man, he also the most likely person to object to this wedding, out of sheer jealousy.
Jose Guerrero

Luke met Jose at the same time as Liam, and to this day holds the record for the best cooked steak Luke has ever had. They’ve been there for each other through thick and thin, and Jose is the only person that can (and does) call Luke out on his bulls***.
Justin Weimer

Luke and Justin met in 2021. Having barely met prior, they proceeded to spend 6 months on a dusty outpost together, passing the time by pontificating on topics that neither one were remotely qualified to form an opinion on, continuously repairing frayed relationships with the locals, and co-parenting a flea-ridden puppy that they’d traded gun parts for.

Luke and Kurtis have been friends since high school where they played football and did a poor job of staying out of trouble. In college, Luke would ride his motorcycle from ETSU to UTK, park it in any spot that inconvenienced Kurtis, and crash on the couch all weekend.
Jake Everett

Luke and Jake have known each other since Kindergarten, and still act like Kindergarteners when they get together. From country boys to extreme athletes to wanna-be hippies to quasi-respectable members of society, these two lived every phase of growing up in lockstep. Even after being separated in high school (because the school couldn’t handle BOTH of us), Luke and Jake could be found in places they probably shouldn’t have been, doing things that it’d be better if they didn’t do.
Chase Miller

Chase is Luke’s oldest friend. They’ve known each other so long that they don’t even remember where they met! These two grew up pushing the boundaries of physics and Mrs. Miller’s patience by riding BMX/dirt bikes/snowboards/skateboards/et cetera off the highest drop offs and biggest ramps they could cobble together. If she had a dollar for every hospital trip…

Luke met will for the first time in Denver, Colorado in 2021. Of course, this was one of the very first tests Luke faced to get to this point with Sophie. Will took it easy on Luke, and they’ve gotten along great ever since. Will also managed to teach Luke more about cuts of steak in one evening than Jose ever has. Will actually screwed Luke over by taking it so easy on him, because that left Luke woefully unprepared for the final boss, Dr. See….
