Q&A

If you have any other questions aside from what is listed here, please contact Beth Straley at (419)-553-7737.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that all guests RSVP by April 3rd. We have to give a final headcount to our venue at this time, so we kindly ask that you keep this deadline in mind. Even if you are unable to make it, please let us know!

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that all guests please arrive around 4:30 pm, as the ceremony will start promptly at 5. This will ensure that everyone arrives on time, giving you the chance to mingle and find a seat.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our dress code is summer semi-formal. The bridal party will be wearing an assortment of colors, so no need to worry about clashing with them. If you would like to bring a pair of comfy shoes to change into for dancing, this is encouraged!

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

It is Arizona, so be prepared for the heat! The weather is projected to be warm and sunny. Our ceremony and dinner will both be outside, with dancing indoors. You will not need to worry about it being chilly.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, for those 21+ we will have wine, beer, and signature cocktails. Drinks are on us, but the hangover is on you!

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony so we ask that you do not take out your phones at this time. We have an amazing photographer & videographer who will capture this portion of the day, we promise! As soon as the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like. Use the #goinggriffin to share photos on social media!

Question

What will the parking situation be?

Answer

There is plenty of parking available at the Wright House. We want to ensure that everyone plans rides responsibly, so we encourage carpooling/ridesharing. Uber and Lyft are very common in the Phoenix area. If needed, cars can also be left overnight at the venue if they are picked up by 1pm the next day. There are two wedding venues at The Wright House, and you will be directed to the appropriate one by signage & an attendant when you arrive. We are getting married in the ballroom side of the venue.

Question

What is the address of the venue?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will both be held in the ballroom venue at The Wright House in Mesa, Arizona. 636 W University Dr, Mesa, AZ 85201

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

If you are given a plus one, your invitation will indicate accordingly.
