We're getting married!

We love the way that our personalities are the perfect match, balancing each other out in all the right ways. We have both prayed for a Godly relationship and have found exactly that in one another. Where do we even begin with what our life is like as a couple?! We've gone skydiving together, traveled high and low, and spent more hours than we can count watching Friends. We cannot wait for marriage and the endless memories that we will continue to make.

We are high school sweethearts! We met during our senior year. Lauren remembers squealing to her friends about how "the cute boy in math class" asked her to lunch. Tanner remembers thinking he needed to impress the pretty girl who couldn't do simple algebra. We first interacted when Lauren went to lunch with her close friend, Caroline Rejman. Tanner spotted Lauren from across the parking lot and sprinted to hold the door open. He's been holding doors for her ever since. We have been together for 5 years! We feel so blessed to have been able to grow up together. We spent college hand-in-hand, and have grown even more in love with each other as time goes by.

This one was a long time comin'! Lauren and Tanner both knew that they would be getting engaged sometime in the summer of 2023, Lauren just didn't know exactly when! On July 15th, Tanner told Lauren that he had made dinner reservations for the two of them at her favorite restaurant. On the way over, a detour to Papago Park revealed that Tanner and his friends had set up a picnic for the two of them. It was then and there that Tanner finally got down on one knee and asked Lauren to marry him! She said yes, of course! Several of Tanner's future groomsmen were there to capture the amazing moment on camera. After popping some champagne and celebrating one on one, Lauren and Tanner headed to dinner where they were greeted with congratulations and even more champagne. Dinner was on the house (lucky!) and the scream-calling to inform family members and friends began. The two headed back to Tanner's house where friends were waiting to celebrate with them. It was the most perfect day!!
