Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

So, we technically met on Zoom in 2021 (classic pandemic love story). Bethany was rushing a college honors fraternity and had to interview members, and Alex was one of them. The second she found out he was from Charlotte and into computer science, she texted her friends, “I’m in love.” Meanwhile, Alex had already seen her TikToks and thought she was funny and cute. So, the feeling was mutual. Our first date was on April Fools’ Day, and we both wondered if it might be a prank, instead, it turned out to be the best day ever. We've celebrated our anniversary on April 1st ever since, and yes, the jokes continue every year. After college, we moved to Maryland and have been living here for two years with our spoiled (and chunky) dog Wylie. Then, on December 14, 2024, Alex proposed at the Inner Harbor in Baltimore. Now we’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter with our favorite people in Punta Cana!
