If you have any questions other than what we've listed here, please email petersondavis2020@gmail.com. If you have questions specifically about the inn, please email Jeff at innkeeper@colbyhillinn.com
Question

What accommodations are bing made for COVID?

Answer

We are taking risks associated with COVID-19 very seriously. At this time, we can hold our wedding with a reduced guest list. In line with state guidance, Colby Hill Inn will operate at 50% capacity. The owners are working hard to ensure safety and proper social distancing with tables more spaced out, smaller dance "areas" instead of one dance floor, and other similar accommodations. While we request that you wear a mask for the safety of yourself and others, masks are only required when inside the inn. At this time, a mask is not required if you are outside or in the barn. Cocktail hour and the ceremony will take place outside, weather permitting. The reception and dinner will be held in the barn. We completely understand if you do not feel comfortable attending our wedding, but you will be sorely missed. We will ensure you have the opportunity to see photos!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 15.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 4:30 p.m., but we have requested you arrive at 4 p.m. Refreshments will be available.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal attire requested. Please keep in mind, it will be early fall, and the weather may be cool. Please consider bringing a face mask to help protect yourself and others.

Question

What is considered semi-formal attire?

Answer

Depending on the time of the event, you'll want to dress somewhere between formal and casual. Wear darker, more formal hues for an evening fete; opt for light colors and fabrics for a daytime wedding. Keep in mind that semi-formal still has the word "formal" in the description. You still want to look elegant and sophisticated. Sure, women don't need to wear ballgowns and the gents can keep their tuxedos in the closet but don't dress like you're going to a casual family barbeque. Dress to impress. He should wear: A suit and tie, dark or light depending on the season and time of day. A dinner jacket and slacks can also work. Consider adding a little flair with an elegant pocket square or wristwatch. She should wear: A cocktail dress or a dressy skirt and top. A well-tailored pantsuit or a dressy jumpsuit paired with tasteful jewelry is also an excellent option for a semi-formal wedding.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to COVID, our capacity is limited. If you were not explicitly offered a guest with your invitation then, we are sad to say that we cannot accommodate any additional guests at this time. Thank you for your understanding.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We are unable to accommodate children at our wedding. We apologize and thank you for your understanding.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course! If you have selected "dietary restriction" on your response card, we will reach out to you to meet your dietary needs. If you have mismarked your card or have a change in your nutritional needs, please email petersondavis2020@gmail.com.
