We met our freshman year of college. We belonged to the same group of friends and first really hung out while helping another friend move to a new dorm and watching Flight of the Concords. About six months later, at the end of February 2009, we started dating. Elyza, not wanting to make a big deal (if it didn't last), did not write down the exact date. We celebrate on the 28th because we're reasonably confident that was the day. We supported each other through college, through fun and fights, and into the bumpy path of early adulthood. Our family grew in 2015 with the adoption of our pug, Eloise. In 2019, it grew again with the addition of our second pug, Mochi. In February of 2019, we went out to dinner on our anniversary and planned on meeting Aleesha and Kina in downtown Manchester to check out a new arcade. Elyza was expecting the proposal, but nothing is ever guaranteed. Lowell had the ring in his coat pocket, and since the waitress insisted we hang our coats up as we sat down at our table, his plan to propose during dinner was circumvented. In the end, Lowell proposed on the cobblestone sidewalk of a silent side street downtown. It was perfect. On October 1st, we will tie the knot and take the next step on the journey we started back in 2009, and we couldn't be more excited for you to be there with us!
