FAQs

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 29th.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Please try to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the ceremony start time.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal. Ladies can wear both evening gowns and elegant cocktail frocks, so pick the hemline you feel best in. That being said, you don't have to wear a dress at all. The bride just asks that nothing be too short. Men can wear a tuxedo or a suit and tie.

Question

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside. The reception will be in a tent.

Question

How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?

Answer

A shuttle will be provided leaving from the Omni Hotel. We ask that you please RSVP for the bus so we can get a headcount. Don't want to leave anyone behind due to a full bus!

Question

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

For guests who will be driving themselves, the venue does have a parking lot available. It is self-park, so if you see a guy standing around, he is not the valet. :P

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Unless you are our adorable flower girl, due to space constraints, we are unable to accommodate children at our wedding.

Question

I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What's the best way to let you know?

Answer

Please text the bride! 757.995.six437

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Duh (:

Question

Have you booked hotel room blocks for guests?

Answer

Yes! Please visit our Travel page for more info.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

This will be an unplugged ceremony. We are flying in the best - all the way from Dallas! Rest assured ALL the images wanted will be captured by our amazing Photographer Lyndi. So turn your phones off and put them in your pocket or purse. We will have these photos forever and we would rather see your beautiful face in the background - not your phone.
