Registry

The bride and groom both lived on their own prior to living together and are insistent that your presence on their special day is present enough. However if you are insistent on bringing a present they are registered at the following locations. They would also accept a donation to "Be The Match" or "TWLOHA" as a gift if you would like to go that route. Links are provided.

So this particular organization is responsible for a lot of the registered bone marrow donors. Their specific about me is as follows " For the thousands of people diagnosed every year with life-threatening blood cancers like leukemia and lymphoma, a cure exists. Over the past 30 years Be The Match ® , operated by the National Marrow Donor Program ® (NMDP), has managed the largest and most diverse marrow registry in the world. We work every day to save lives through transplant." As most all of you know JT was diagnosed with AML which is a type of blood cancer memorial day weekend in 2015. He required a bone marrow transplant in order to live, his donor happened to be family but not every case is that lucky and thanks to organizations like Be The Match a lot more matches are being found for these curable forms of cancer. This is a cause that is close to both of our hearts.

So as many of you know, mental health is an important topic, especially to people like Cassady who has struggled with mental health issues for most of her adolescence and adulthood. To Write Love on Her Arms is a nonprofit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide. TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire, and invest directly into treatment and recovery. As of 2020 they have donated more than $2.4 million dollars to treatment and recovery. Mental health struggles and struggles with addiction can seem very solitary. Organizations like TWLOHA try every day to prove to people that they do not have to be. There is help out there and no one is alone in their struggles. That those struggles are seen, they are valid, and that they can be helped.
