Mehndi Event

"What is a Mehndi?" 
A Mehndi is a traditional pre-wedding celebration to honor the bride & groom and bless them before their marriage. It is a colorful, festive event where the bride & her guests receive henna on their hands as a way of beautifying ahead of the wedding ceremony. 
 
"What can I expect at this event?"
We will have a Pakistani catered buffet dinner. We have hired a henna artist so the women can receive henna if they choose! A short blessing will be lead by the groom's brothers. 

"What do I wear?"
We encourage guests to wear traditional desi attire as a way of honoring the groom's Pakistani heritage. If this is outside of your comfort level, please wear American cocktail attire.
