Mike's Point of View: It was a typical cool autumn night as I drove into Arlington. I was called to attend a "Friendsgiving" my best friend's fiancé was hosting. I looked awesome and all the girls were staring at me and stuff. I greeted Ricky with a bottle of vodka as we started catching up on times past. As we discussed things like the stock market, world peace, and the latest research on Pleurotus nebrodensis, I gazed across the room taking in my surroundings. Then everything stopped - the room went dark and a single spotlight began to glow like an angel eye's locked with mine. She was chatting with Ricky's fiancé, Rachel, and before I knew it I had been caught staring. I gave her a super cool-looking head nod like "What's up with you" before we went about our nights; I'm not that easy so I was keeping it lowkey. "Who's Legs over there?" I asked Rick. Little did Amy know is that for the next year and a half Ricky would let me know whenever Rachel and "Legs" would be hanging out. When I was lucky enough to catch her on occasion, it would be for a brief couple of minutes before she left to tend to others' needs - as she is an angel if you recall. I had thrown in the towel, there was no interest on her side and it was time to move on. On a fateful summer day, Rachel reached out to me and asked "Would you talk to Amy if we went on a camping trip?". Being an absolute gentleman, I said of course and I found myself at a KOA a few months later. As I jumped out of the car, the smell of the Chesapeake hit me followed by the sound of a vacuum. I investigated further and as I peeked inside the tent, I see Amy blowing up a queen-sized mattress. She catches me staring again and exclaims “What’s Gucci!?”. That was it, I was in love. I spent the rest of the weekend doing everything and anything to impress her and it obviously paid off because, well, check us out now. Amy’s Point of View: Mike stalked me I guess and now we’re getting married. :)
