10:30 am - 12:00 pm
We're tying the knot in the United States' first Sikh temple! And we'll be dressed the part. While this is an opportunity for you to wear something Indian, it is most certainly not a requirement! All we ask is that you dress Guru appropriate. Guests will be seated on the floor for the ceremony, sans shoes with heads covered. Don't worry! The gurdwara has clean scarves in case you don't have something. (Check our FAQ if you're freaking about what to wear.) Our ceremony will begin promptly at 11, however we request that you arrive early so that you have time to get your noggins covered, those feet nuded and unbooted, and a good seat for the ragis singing kirtan. To borrow a concert term: doors and opening act at 10:30, show at 11. The ceremony will last about 45 minutes and will be in Punjabi. English will be up on the screens. (Parking is available under the gurdwara and on the street.)
12:30 pm - 4:30 pm
We're taking over our favorite movie theatre for the afternoon. Join us for tacos, popcorn, sweets, drinks, and one of our favorite movies: Harold & Maude. Peep the FAQ for more info on what's going down at Cinefamily.
