This is the bride! Hopefully, most of y'all knew that already. I don't know what to put here...Kelly loves the outdoors, horses, working out, hiking, dogs, the groom, Halloween, her chickens, and long walks in the forest at night. She's a big ole weirdo.

Groom
This is the groom! We hope you knew that, too. Mark is a big-hearted, dog-loving, Trekkie, Star Warsy, Lord of the Ringsy, chicken-raising, wood-working, joy-seeking kind of guy. He loves that bride a lot, even though she's a big ole weirdo. He lets her put him in a lot of different costumes, which definitely helped to win her over.
Leslie Cardix
Matron of Honor
Leslie and the bride met through Summit CrossFit. Yes, Leslie is also Kelly’s boss! But, first and foremost, she is her buff-bestie. The two athletes became fast friends and have always enjoyed (?) suffering and sweating next to each other during every Saturday partner workout, and even some competitions they’ve done together, and won together! Leslie is the steady road to Kelly’s winding, overgrown path. She is the alphabetized and color coordinated filing cabinet to Kelly’s junk drawer. Leslie is the clear and concise thought to Kelly’s run-on sentence. In other words, peas and carrots! They are often found accidentally matching their gym outfits, cackling over nonsense and their own, inside jokes, talking on and on and ON about books, shopping for plants (and more books) or enjoying a margarita and some tortilla chips. Oh yeah, and eternally working out together.
Melissa Ann Ashton Patton
Bridesmaid
Mel has known the bride since Kelly was 12 years old. Let that sink in for a moment.... For that reason, Mel has always stepped fully into the role of Big Sister, but also, as an incredible friend. Mel has dealt with Kelly through her loud and annoying pre-teen years, her know-it-all and moody high school years, her self-absorbed college years, and, her wandering into countless bad decisions as a young adult. Through it all, Mel advised, hugged, tolerated, laughed with, and loved Kelly, who is so glad that her eldest brother found such an incredible woman to bring into their family.
Claire Fletcher
Bridesmaid
Claire and the bride met in 2011, and became fast friends. Sharing a love of nerd culture, being strong ladies, animals (especially dogs and horses) Wonder Woman, guttural grunts whilst standing, sitting, or during any general effort, and taking ONLY either glamorous or RIDICULOUS selfies together. There has never been a time where there wasn't laughter with snorting and tears, when these two get together. They experienced their first crossfit competition, Spartan mud run, and runway modeling gig together! Needless to say, they've experienced a lot as friends, supported each other through countless highs and lows, shenanigans and silly times. Here's to many, many more!
Kevin Ashton
Officiant
Kevin is the bride’s eldest brother! He is not only close with her, but also became good friends and very brotherly to the groom quite quickly after their introduction. Despite the geographical distance between these two households, Kelly and Mark are able to visit with Kevin, Mel, and their family fairly often (albeit, not often enough, according to all parties involved.) Beyond spending major holidays together, all of the aforementioned persons have also ran several long distance races together, binged nerdy shows, discovered new video games, and have played too many board games together to count. Considering the familiar closeness that Kevin shares with the couple, they have asked him to be the honored officiant for the grand ceremony!
