L.L.Bean

If you're not from the area you MUST go to Freeport and visit LL Bean. Lots of shopping and walking to be done; you can definitely spend a whole day up there.

Ferry Beach

Best place to watch the sunset, or a fantastic beach for walking or having a quiet time.

Portland Head Lighthouse

The most photographed lighthouse in the world, a quintessential Maine landmark.

The Old Port

Take some time to head "downtown" to the Old Port for food, drinks, or shopping. One of the last working ports in the US, it is a busy place with lots to see!

Higgins Beach

Plan your trip for low tide for excellent walking, sea shell hunting, or relaxing on the beach.

Pine Point Beach

Beach with the easiest parking. Best for making a beach day out of, you'll want to get there early to get a parking spot! Pack a lunch or buy something at Emma's Eats. If needed there are also real bathrooms and a few foot showers to get rid of the sand!

The Dairy Corner

Looking for some good ice cream on your way home from Pine Point? Hit up the Dairy Corner. We recommend the "Nor'Easter" which is their take on a Blizzard.
