Maid of Honor
I have known Ashlee since I was five years old. We met in kindergarten and I still have a note from her congratulating me on the birth of my brother, Jacob, who is now 20. We went to different schools until 4th grade, where we reconnected at Ralston Elementary. We spent most of our friendship living down the street from one another. We spent almost every day of our middle school and high school days together. Most of my favorite memories are with her. Although she currently lives in Iowa, whenever we get back together it is like nothing ever changed. Ashlee has loved me and accepted me for who I am and she is one of the most thoughtful and loving people I have been blessed with in my life. There is no one else more perfect for the job as maid of honor than Ashlee.
Bridesmaid
I met Sammy while serving and bar tending at Onyx Bar and Grill. Early on in our friendship, we were each other's drinking partners. This consisted of me trying to drink as many irish car bombs as her (BTW I could never keep up). We remained friends even after we got over our "going out all the time" phase. She has remained in my life through the good and the bad. Sam has been a HUGE support person during some of the most difficult times in my life. She knows how to fill a room with laughter and she is totally understanding of my straight-forward, blunt self. I'm so happy Sammy will be standing by my side on Sage and I's wedding day.
Bridesmaid
I met Maggie during my lovely graduate school years ( I say lovely with a little bit of sarcasm). She was roommates with one of my other bridesmaids and friends, Jess, and I will give her some credit for our friendship. Maggie is a lot like me in that she is very honest, especially with people she cares about. We are different in that I am a little more high strung than she is (Okay maybe a lot more). She is laid back and relaxed and I have always felt like I can talk to her about anything and receive honest feedback without feeling judged. She was one of the people that made graduate school a little more bearable and I know her relaxed, but supportive nature will help me get through my wedding day with less stress.
Bridesmaid
I also met Jess in graduate school at ISU. We bonded over late night study sessions in the library and singing duets of old choir songs. Jess was always my "go to" person when I was stressed out about an exam, or overwhelmed by graduate school assignments. To be honest, we probably caused more stress for one another, but she was always there to stress eat chipotle with me after many neuro exams. I was actually out with Jess in the downtown bars in Bloomington when I met Sage, so I guess I have to thank her for being my wing woman. She is intelligent and kind and she definitely knows how to dance (Inside joke). I am so thankful she chose to stand by me as I marry my best friend. Jess, you will be responsible for getting the party started on the dance floor.
Bridesmaid
Another one of my graduate school ladies. Dalma was one of the first people that I bonded with in graduate school. She quickly became the person I depended on for all of my workouts at the rec. I was slightly clueless at the gym without her. Somehow we always managed to be partnered up for assignments, which worked well because we embraced each other's procrastination tendencies. From the gym, to class assignments, to going out, or staying in, I always enjoy time spent with her and I know she will be a forever friend. Dalma is one of the sweetest people I know. She is never afraid to tell me how she feels about a given situation, but she is always kind with her words. I am so happy that she is going to be a part of our wedding party.
Bridesmaid
Kayli is married to Sage's brother, Augie. What I like most about Kayli is that she has always made an effort to get to know me. Although we haven't had a lot of opportunity to spend time together (unpredictable graduate school schedule for me and intense law school schedule for her), I have enjoyed spending time with her and getting to know her at holidays and other family events. Kayli is super fun to be around. She is a huge part of Sage's (and Augie's) life and I can't wait for her to be a huge part of mine.

Ring Bearer
Levi is my cousin, Tiffany's son. He is 8 years old and one of the sweetest boys I know. Levi is loving, kind and helpful. He is going to be such a handsome ring bearer. We love you Levi!
Flower Girl
Violet is Levi's little sister. Violet is now 3 years old, the same age as Amelia. For those of you who don't know, I lost my sweet Amelia at birth. I know that if she was here, she would be great friends with Violet. We are going to have Violet carry a purple balloon down the aisle in honor of Amelia. Violet is the perfect person for the job. She is sassy and sweet and of course loves balloons. We are so excited to have her as our flower girl. We love you Violet!
