FAQs

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes. We are registered on Amazon for most of our items along with a handful of items on Crate & Barrel, Wishlist.com, and right here on the ZOLA website. You can find links to all registries by clicking on the "Registry" tab at the top of this page.

Question

What can I bring to the wedding?

Answer

Due to the nature of the venue, all guests will be required to go through a security screening which includes a metal detector and bag search. No food or drink of any kind is allowed in, including any food or drink that may be a gift (if you are bringing this kind of gift please find another time during the weekend to give it to us or one of our family members). All bags will be searched (but are allowed) and no weapons, including large pocket knifes, will be allowed in.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There are multiple paid parking lots around the baseball stadium and some paid street parking. For those not staying at the AC Marriott or another nearby downtown hotel we recommend parking in the Central Riverfront Garage as close to the stadium as possible. For those staying at the AC Marriott or another downtown hotel we recommend walking. Both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding are within 300 feet of the AC Marriott hotel. See the "Travel" tab on this website for a map of the block with helpful instructions.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids under 11 years old will not be invited. When invites are sent out they will either be addressed to specific people or to the family for those with more than 2 people. The online RSVP system will clearly list by name those that are invited to the wedding.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

No. When invites are sent out they will either be addressed to specific people or to the family for those with more than 2 people. The online RSVP system will clearly list by name those that are invited to the wedding.

Question

Can I use my phone at the wedding?

Answer

During the ceremony we ask that you silence your phone and keep them in your pocket/bag. We'd like everyone to live in the moment and not interfere with our professional photographers who I guarantee will do a better job than you will with your cellphone. Once the reception starts feel free to use your phone on silent and take pictures/videos, but please do not interfere with our professional photographers who will be there most of the night. We have multiple family members/friends who are not afraid to enforce these rules for us.
