Question

Why is there an RSVP card with my Save the Date?

Answer

This is a preliminary RSVP card that is meant to assist with our planning. Being a Type A Bride, it is very helpful to have even ballpark numbers. It is by no means your "final" RSVP, as you will receive another RSVP card along with your formal invitation.

Question

Is there a hotel block for all guests?

Answer

At the current time, there unfortunately is not. We were only able to secure a hotel block for the bridal party. Because Ravello is an international wedding destination, weddings take place every single day of the week. And because of so many reschedules from 2020 and 2021, everyone anticipates that accommodations in general will book up quickly. I would recommend booking your hotel or airbnb/vrbo as quickly as possible if attending is even a possibility. Most airbnb's have completely free cancellation up to as little a few weeks prior to the start date of your reservation.

Question

Can we come early?

Answer

Of course!! Erik and I plan to get to Ravello approximately a week prior. While we will be relatively low key in preparation for our big day, we will have a few fun things planned and would welcome you to join us!

Question

How do I get from the airport/train station to Ravello?

Answer

Ravello is approximately 1 hour from the Naples Airport and Naples Train Station. There are a few options: 1) the SITA bus is a very cheap way to get to Ravello (few euros per person), 2) you can take a private car from Naples to Ravello, about 150 euros each way, 3) I can arrange transportation for groups -- they have vans that seat up to 12 people (please contact me if you're interested in this), 4) you can actually get from Naples to Amalfi by boat and hop in a taxi for the 10 minute drive from Amalfi to Ravello. I have never personally travelled this way but I'm sure it could be a scenic way to get to Ravello!
