Travel

The Wedding Website of Kristine Root and Michael Smith
We are so excited to celebrate with you in Tuscany! Most guests traveling from the U.S. will find the easiest flight options into Rome, with additional airport options available through Florence and Pisa as well. From there, guests can travel by rental car, private transfer, or train depending on what works best for their trip. Below, you’ll find recommended transportation details, and travel tips to help make planning as seamless as possible. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us with any questions.

Conti di San Bonifacio - Wine Resort

1 Localita' Casteani, Toscana 58023, Italy

We have reserved all rooms on-site at the wedding venue for our guests to stay throughout the celebration. There is no need to book this accommodation independently. Once we receive your RSVP, our wedding planner will reach out directly to confirm your stay and provide a secure payment link for your reserved accommodations.

Hotel

Conti di San Bonifacio - Tuscan Townhouse

25 Via del Capezzuolo, Montemassi, Toscana 58027, Italy

We have reserved all rooms at Tuscan Townhouse for our wedding celebration. This nearby off-site property is located approximately 15 minutes from the venue. There is no need to book your stay independently. Once we receive your RSVP, our wedding planner will reach out directly to coordinate your accommodations and provide a secure payment link for your reserved stay.

Flight

FCO - Leonardo da Vinci International Airport - Rome, IT

Most direct international flights from the United States arrive into Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO), which is approximately a two hour drive from our venue, Conti di San Bonifacio.

Rental Car

Sixt - Rome Airport

Fiumicino, Lazio 00054, Italy

Personally, I found that SIXT was the easiest rental car company to work with and they have affordable daily rates, but you may choose which ever rental car company works best for you.

Train

ItaliaRail

ItaliaRail is the train used throughout Italy. If you are flying into Rome, you can take the FCO train station. The destination will be Grosseto and we will coordinate someone to pick you up.
