We're getting married!

Kristine and Michael’s love story started like many fairy tales do… on Hinge. They exchanged a few messages filled with pleasantries before Kristine spiraled about hating dating apps and deleted the app for six weeks. Meanwhile, Michael was left wondering why this girl he was so interested in had suddenly disappeared. One lonely evening, likely after a glass of wine, Kristine reopened the dreaded app to find a long list of messages from Michael: “Hey, how are you?”, “Would you like to meet for dinner?”, “I’d love to get to know you more.” And finally, the heartbreaking: “Hey, if you’re not into it, you can just let me know. No hard feelings.” Kristine immediately felt terrible that she had essentially ghosted him for six weeks, especially because she really was interested in him. So she responded, and the two went on their first date at Bacari in Silverlake. Honestly, the rest was history. Kristine remembers calling her parents afterward and saying, “I really, really like this guy.” From the very beginning, there was something effortless about their relationship. Anyone who spends even five minutes with them can see how naturally they fit together. They are goofy, constantly laughing, and truly best friends in every sense of the word. After only five months of dating, Michael knew he wanted to marry Kristine. In fact, he asked her parents for their blessing six months before he actually proposed because he simply couldn’t imagine his life without her. Four months into dating, Michael moved in, and shortly after, the two adopted their sweet dog Cannoli, who joined Pizza in living a very spoiled life together. As their relationship grew, so did their collection of favorite things together: discovering new restaurants, playing video games, competing in trivia nights, tackling escape rooms, and fully embracing their shared love of Disney. In March of 2025, Michael took Kristine to Disney World for the very first time for her birthday, and during that same trip, the two visited Nashville together. Between the excitement of Disney and falling in love with Nashville, the trip quickly became one they would never forget. After years of exhausting commutes and feeling burnt out by Los Angeles, Nashville felt like the perfect fit and the exact kind of life they wanted to build together. Just a few months later, they packed up their lives and made the move to Nashville for a new adventure together. Through every season of life, Michael has made Kristine feel deeply loved, supported, and celebrated. Whether it’s through thoughtful surprises, spontaneous adventures, or simply the way he shows up for her every single day, he has always made her feel like a princess. And now, they cannot wait to spend forever continuing this beautiful, laughter-filled life together.
