Awesome burgers.

Smoke Signals

A bit pricier, but the BBQ is fantastic. Expect a wait as well, but it's worth it.

Lake Placid Pub & Brewery

One of the most well known breweries in town. Be careful with their UBU though, as Eric says "Too many UBU's give you boo-boo's". Big Slide Brewery (closer to the Ski Jumps) is the sister brewery. They have a drastically different menu. They do not take reservations.

Downhill Grill

Casual dining that's on the main road in Saranac Lake. We love their Chicken Parmesan.

Raquette River Brewing

A newer addition to Tupper Lake that has become wildly popular and famous for its Mango Wheat Ale. If you're already in town for The Wild Center, it's worth a stop here.

Whiteface Mountain

On a clear day taking a Gondola ride is a must. There's also the Veterans Memorial Highway.

Peninsula Trails

Easy walk through the woods. Great place to take your dog out to the dam on Lake Placid.

Moose Pond Trailhead

Longer, but still relatively easy walk through the woods. Great views!

John Brown's Farm Trails

An easy walk that's perfect for stretching out your legs and burning up energy for your pet.

The Wild Center

While this location may be the furthest from everything else, it's perfect for those not native to the area to see what the Adirondacks has to offer. Fun and educational for kids.

Big Slide Brewery & Public House

Best place for breakfast and mimosas or bloody mary's.
