Question

If we arrive before Friday, where should we stay?

Answer

We'll be in Whitefish the week before the wedding. For guests planning to arrive early we suggest you stay in Whitefish too! We haven't blocked rooms at any hotels in town, but a few suggestions are The Hidden Moose Lodge (THE BEST!!, B&B), Grouse Mountain Lodge (on the golf course), The Lodge at Whitefish Lake (on the lake), and the Firebrand (downtown Whitefish). There are campgrounds in town as well if you plan to bring your camper or tent. State park on Whitefish Lake is our favorite.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

We love your kids and they are welcome at the camp if you would like to bring them for the weekend. If you're staying in a cabin, please include camp fees for your children. We ask that the wedding ceremony and reception is adult only. We don’t feel that kids mix safely with booze, darkness, water, and loud music. We would also love for parents to enjoy an evening with us away from their little ones. Hailey Ralston, Lindsay’s sister, will be contacting each family with kiddos to discuss childcare options at the camp. If you have not already heard from her, please message Lindsay.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your invitation is for two, then yes. If not, then we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

Can you review payment options?

Answer

If you're staying in a cabin, please pay $85/person for Friday and Saturday nights combined If you're staying in a camper, please pay $70 for Friday and Saturday nights combined regardless of # of people in the camper. If you're staying in a tent, please pay $30 for Friday and Saturday nights combined regardless of # of people in the tent If you're bringing a dog, please add $10/dog regardless of camper, cabin, or tent Please VENMO Lindsay: @Lindsay-Love-1 (lindsayklove@gmail.com) or send a check to Lindsay Love po box 2143 Jackson, WY 83001. If you have already paid, THANK YOU! If you have not, please do so as soon as possible.

Question

How are the cabins outfitted?

Answer

Each cabin is a little different. Some have running water, but the majority do not. There are shared bathrooms and a shower house on the property. All cabins have bedding, refrigerators, and electricity. True luxury.

Question

If we requested a cabin, what’s next?

Answer

Pay! Then, show up! We've placed you all in cabins with and around your friends. This was the most efficient way to get maximum use of space in the cabins and avoid staff confusion.

Question

What if we can only stay at the cabins one night?

Answer

Everything is priced on a 2-night stay and cabins were arranged and priced based on guests’ requests. Cabins are $85/person regardless of number of nights.

Question

Can we bring our boat?

Answer

YES!!!! Please do!!!! Any watercraft options are welcome – wake boats, paddle boards, fishing boats, inflatable unicorns… The camp is on a small lake that is great for boating. There is a boat launch on the property. Friday and Saturday are water recreation days! If you arrive before Friday, Whitefish and Flathead Lake are amazing too. Please note that there is no gas on the property. See above for nearest gas stations.

Question

Is there transportation between the camp and the marina for the wedding?

Answer

Yes, there will be busses picking us up at Camp Tuffitt and returning us after the reception. Please use the shuttle for safety and to limit the impact on the marina. Details will be provided at the camp.

Question

Should we bring bikes?

Answer

What kind of question is that? There is mountain biking in Whitefish if you’re planning on coming early – a few great trail systems and lift access. Please see the “things to do” section for details. We're not sure what the mountain biking sitch is near the camp, but road biking is good. Bikes will also be convenient for cruising around the camp, but are by no means essential. If you're flying in, there are bike rentals in Whitefish.

Question

What time can we check in at Camp Tuffit on Friday and out on Sunday?

Answer

We’d love guests to spend the day Friday at the camp if their schedules allow them to do so. Guests can check in at 10 am. At this point, checkout time is flexible on Sunday since the camp is closing for the season when we leave. If this changes we'll let you know.

Question

If we are not staying at the camp, should we still join for Friday night activities?

Answer

Absolutely! We'd love to have you all join for as much of the weekend as possible!

For all the days along the way
