The state has started to open up, people are receiving vaccines in record numbers, and we are all starting to feel a little safer. After careful consideration, we finally feel ready to celebrate our wedding with our loved ones! We are having a wedding reception on June 12th, a week after our one year anniversary. We have been patiently waiting for this moment, and we are so excited it has finally come! The health of our family and friends is our top priority, and we are taking every measure possible to keep our reception safe. We have cut down our guest list to ensure our gathering will be under one hundred people, we have picked a large venue so people can maintain a comfortable distance, and a large patio that will allow fresh air to circulate throughout the night. After our engagement in December, we decided on early June at The Fullerton Arboretum for our wedding. When the novel corona virus, COVID-19, began to pose a public health risk, we spent some time discussing our options. Our main concern was, and continues to be, the health and safety of our family and friends. With this in mind, we decided to take the state recommendations seriously and postpone our wedding to November. Our plans changed again when we heard from our venue that all events, including our wedding, are on hold until the state allows. After careful consideration, we decided to make the best of a difficult situation. We got married! You were in our thoughts and in our hearts as we said our vows, just the two of us. These early weeks of marriage have been wonderful, and we feel blessed to have taken this step together. Although it’s difficult to know when the pandemic will end, we are still looking forward to hosting our wedding and celebrating this wonderful moment in our lives!
