TRANSPORTATION Getting to the Villa/Condo: For airport transfers, please contact Yasmil (contact details below) to arrange transportation to your hotel. · From Managua Airport (Nicaragua): Approx. $80 USD for a sedan to the beach. · From Liberia Airport (Costa Rica): Approx. $130 USD for a sedan. Yasmil may also be able to coordinate shared rides with other guests arriving on the same flight. Payment: Please bring cash, as it makes it easier to pay for transportation and for border fees. Travel Tip: For the most convenient option, we recommend flying into Managua, as the travel time is much shorter. If you fly into Liberia, the trip is still simple, but a bit longer. You’ll need to walk across the border on foot, where another car (included in the price) will meet you on the Nicaragua side. Don’t worry—it’s very straightforward, just a longer travel day. Getting to & from the Wedding How do I get to the wedding party? If you’re staying in one of the nearby villas or condos, Fort Walker is within walking distance or golf cart ride. If you’re staying elsewhere, no worries! You can contact Yasmil once you’re ready to head over. How do I get back after the wedding? We’ve got you covered! A few drivers will be on standby to bring guests back to their villas or condos. Just let Yasmil know when you’ve had your fill of margaritas and cervezas, and a ride will be arranged. Getting Around the community of Hacienda Iguana
While most villas and condos are walking distance, you will be able to rent bikes, or golf carts for the weekend. Daily Golf Cart Rental - $40/day Bicycles – beach cruiser - $10day/$50wk, simple mnt bike $15day/$70wk, pro mnt bike $25day/$120week - available at Scoops and Spokes – located in the commercial center of Iguana. Taxis and Airport Transportation- Please inquire as rates vary due to group size, distance and mode of transport (car, SUV, van or bus). Usually $100 to $160 from airport - message your property manager.
