Things To Do

"Cle Elum" means "swift water" in the native language of the Kittitas population that used to live here. Appropriate, considering that the town stretches along the banks of the Yakima River. The great outdoors and charming shops of Cle Elum are just 5 miles away from our venue.

Suncadia Resort Activities

There are TONS of fun things to do around Suncadia Resort if you plan on extending your stay. Suncadia and Tumble Creek are both known for their picturesque and award winning golf courses. They also have multiple pools, bike rentals, special summer events, and plenty of hiking trails of all different difficulties. We highly recommend stopping by Nelson Farm if you have to choose just one! Visit the gallery below to see what we're talkin' about!

Prospector Golf Course

3320 Suncadia Trail, Cle Elum, WA 98922

Suncadia and Tumble Creek are well known for their beautiful golf courses. Take a swing here, or check out Rope Rider Golf Course, also located in Suncadia

Roslyn Cafe

201 West Pennsylvania Avenue, Roslyn, WA 98941

Famous for its camel mural from the show, Northern Exposure, this cafe has a lot of surprising and delicious food options. Not to mention, they feature a "Tot of the Month," their monthly rotating tater tot creation.

The Brick Saloon

100 West Pennsylvania Avenue, Roslyn, WA 98941

The legendary Brick Saloon is Washington's oldest continuously operating bar. It has been open since 1889!

Heritage Distilling Company

101 East Pennsylvania Avenue, Roslyn, WA 98941

If you're a fan of whiskey, this stop in Roslyn is a must. If you prefer your cocktails more fruity and fun, this stop is still a must. Heritage's tasting room opened in 1896 as a Northwest Improvement Company store for over 900 coal mining families. Tons of great history, and plenty of great drinks!

Owens Meats

502 East 1st Street, Cle Elum, WA 98922

Known as the "Candy Store for the Carnivore," this butcher shop is known for its fresh and smoked meats and cheeses. They have been in business for 5 generations, since 1887.

509 Bake House

207 East 1st Street, Cle Elum, WA 98922

This quaint little bakery has a wonderful variety of desserts and treats. One stop here is guaranteed to make your day a little sweeter!

Dru Bru - Snoqualmie Pass

10 Pass Life Way, Snoqualmie Pass, WA 98068

If you're in need of a pitstop on your way from Seattle, Dru Bru offers beers, ciders, and non-alcoholic sodas featuring an impressive 20 taps. There is also a taproom in Cle Elum featuring a FREE mini golf course, fun for the whole family.

Palouse to Cascades State Park Trail

North Bend, WA 98045

If you are looking to get some sunshine during your stay, there are tons of hikes available nearby. This hike is family friendly with zero elevation gain. Go anywhere from 1/4 mile to 30+ miles.

Leavenworth

Leavenworth, WA 98826

If any of our California guests find themselves to be a little homesick, stop by the little German town of Leavenworth for the same European charm you can find in Solvang! If you are a fan of tacky gift shops and pretzels (what more could you want!?) then you definitely have to make a day trip. Leavenworth also recently opened up their very own alpine coaster, beat that Solvang!

For all the days along the way
