They Met on Bumble

We lived on opposite sides of the state, but a holiday weekend spent in Knoxville and a good ol' dating app brought us together. We both swiped right and immediately bonded over baseball, the Tennessee Vols, and our love for our families. After 2 months of texting, we finally met in person at Roosters, a local sports bar. The rest, as they say, is history. We were still long distance and planned monthly dates, from downtown Nashville, to a Titans game, to a cabin getaway with friends, to job hunting in Asheville, and a trip to DC and Philadelphia. Eventually, Emily accepted a job in Knoxville, and we went from living 6 hours apart to being only 8 minutes away from each other. It only took living in the same city for Colton to (finally) make Emily his girlfriend... at a baseball game. We spent the next 3 years learning about each other's quirks, going to baseball games, spending time at the beach, celebrating holidays and birthdays with our families, and collecting thousands of sports cards. Almost 4 years after we first met in person, Colton got down on one knee, with Krispy Kreme doughnuts and 4 boxes of football cards, and asked Emily to marry him. All we can say is, thanks Bumble!
