The cabin was built in 1937. It too has a guest list steeped in history, with the likes of Gary Cooper and Ernest Hemingway celebrating birthdays in front of the rustic fireplace. It’s said the hokey pokey was even invented within its log walls. Today, this mountain-style log cabin-turned-restaurant sits right next to the rushing waters of Trail Creek, with views up valley of Bald Mountain.
* The Pioneer - The Jelacos consider this THE go-to. A real Western steakhouse famous for their prime rib. * Village Station - Located in the Sun Valley village, this is a Jelaco / Regan favorite, especially their Bald Mountain pizza! The train station-inspired décor pays tribute to Sun Valley’s history as an early destination on the Union Pacific railroad line. * Michel's Christiania - A staple restaurant in Sun Valley, Ernest Hemingway came here so frequently he had his own table. Classic French fare in a casual space. * The Grill at Knob Hill - Located in the charming Knob Hill Inn, serving a Northwest Rocky Mountain influenced menu with a variety of American and European classics.

Where Ron & Courtney - Mother and Father of the Bride - held their wedding reception in 1981! * Big Wood Bread Cafe - The place for either breakfast or lunch fare and baked goods. There are several locations and one in the heart of Ketchum. * White Clouds (2.7 miles round trip) - Right in town, this is a short hike with beautiful vistas of the town of Ketchum, the mountains and the wedding venue. * Pioneer Cabin (8.5 miles round trip) - The true local favorite. If you are looking for a day hike, this is it. Incredible views of the Pioneer Mountains and fields of wildflowers with a steady climb. Look for the quote "The higher you get, the higher you get" on the Pioneer Cabin's roof. * Proctor Ridge (5.5 miles round trip) - Another local favorite, you’ll pass remnants of the original 1936 Proctor Mountain chairlift, as well as views of iconic Bald Mountain. First-timers should bring a map or guidebook—several of Proctor Mountain’s trail junctions are unsigned. * Bald Mountain (10 miles round trip) - If you're up for a challenge, try hiking up Baldy! It's about 5 miles to the top, with lots of elevation gain.
* Sun Valley Lodge Spa -- The Sun Valley Lodge has a full-service spa, including a year-round heated outdoor pool.
