Our Venue: Trail Creek Cabin
The cabin was built in 1937. It too has a guest list steeped in history, with the likes of Gary Cooper and Ernest Hemingway celebrating birthdays in front of the rustic fireplace. It’s said the hokey pokey was even invented within its log walls. Today, this mountain-style log cabin-turned-restaurant sits right next to the rushing waters of Trail Creek, with views up valley of Bald Mountain.
Dining - Dinner
* The Pioneer - The Jelacos consider this THE go-to. A real Western steakhouse famous for their prime rib. * Village Station - Located in the Sun Valley village, this is a Jelaco / Regan favorite, especially their Bald Mountain pizza! The train station-inspired décor pays tribute to Sun Valley’s history as an early destination on the Union Pacific railroad line. * Michel's Christiania - A staple restaurant in Sun Valley, Ernest Hemingway came here so frequently he had his own table. Classic French fare in a casual space. * The Grill at Knob Hill - Located in the charming Knob Hill Inn, serving a Northwest Rocky Mountain influenced menu with a variety of American and European classics.

* The Kneadery - A mountain breakfast & brunch classic. Head to downtown Ketchum for a hearty meal. Where Ron & Courtney - Mother and Father of the Bride - held their wedding reception in 1981! * Big Wood Bread Cafe - The place for either breakfast or lunch fare and baked goods. There are several locations and one in the heart of Ketchum. Louisa is craving their Cilantro Lime salad as she's typing this (!!!) * Perry's - Go for the hearty breakfast, stay for the massive deli-style sandwiches. Stay even longer for the chocolate chip cookies. * Cristina's - For those looking to enjoy an upscale, gourmet lunch with a glass of wine, this is your spot. Tucked away in downtown Ketchum with a beautiful patio. One of our favs! * Konditorei - A German-Austrian inspired cafe with amazing baked goods, located right in the historic Sun Valley village.

PUB FARE: * Sawtooth Brewery - Top favorite for great beers and (even better) food! * Grumpy's - A favorite among locals and tourists alike and known for their burgers and schooners! This is a must. * Lefty's Bar and Grill - A great place to catch a game with great burgers! Also pays homage to the lefty's in our party - all of the Jelacos and Brian! COCKTAIL HOUR: * Duchin Lounge - Get the full Sun Valley experience with drinks before dinner at the famous Sun Valley Lodge. * Warfield Distillery - Great central location in town and rooftop bar with firepits. LATE NIGHT: * Whiskey Jacques' - The best bar for dancing and games. * The Cellar - Another local favorite for the late night scene.
GOLFING
Sun Valley's courses are all at 6,500 feet above sea level. Have you ever hit a golf ball at 6,500 feet? That’s why there are Par 5s that are 600 yards long! * Sun Valley Golf Club - The 18-hole Trail Creek championship course spans a sweeping 6,968 yards. HIKING
* White Clouds (2.7 miles round trip) - Right in town, this is a short hike with beautiful vistas of the town of Ketchum, the mountains and the wedding venue. * Pioneer Cabin (8.5 miles round trip) - The true local favorite. If you are looking for a day hike, this is it. Incredible views of the Pioneer Mountains and fields of wildflowers with a steady climb. Look for the quote "The higher you get, the higher you get" on the Pioneer Cabin's roof. * Proctor Ridge (5.5 miles round trip) - Another local favorite, you’ll pass remnants of the original 1936 Proctor Mountain chairlift, as well as views of iconic Bald Mountain. First-timers should bring a map or guidebook—several of Proctor Mountain’s trail junctions are unsigned. * Bald Mountain (10 miles round trip) - If you're up for a challenge, try hiking up Baldy! It's about 5 miles to the top, with lots of elevation gain.

* Sun Valley Lodge Spa -- The Sun Valley Lodge has a full-service spa, including a year-round heated outdoor pool. Make a day of it: grab lunch at the Poolside Café, lounge by the pool, soak up the views, the luxurious vibe and the therapeutic waters. Day passes available and included with any spa treatment. * The Ketchum YMCA -- This brand new facility easily compares to any private health club in America. Fitness classes, full-scale gym, pool, beautiful treadmill views! Serious swimmers would love the Bill Janss Aquatics Center, and Richard Odom’s yoga classes are famous throughout the valley. Courtney and Louisa try to catch his restorative yoga class whenever they can! * Gather Yoga Studio -- Located in the heart of Ketchum, Gather is an intimate yoga studio and boutique that offers classes from the valley’s best yogis.
BIKING & RUNNING TRAILS
Sun Valley means easy access to more than 40 miles of paved, car-free bike/running paths, plus hundreds of miles of single track mountain bike trails. RUNNING Ron (Father of the Bride) and Louisa love to share their all-time favorite running routes, which happen to be in this valley. Better yet, join them on a run!
