Question

How do we get around Sun Valley? What are transportation options to/from the airport? To/from the wedding?

Answer

Several hotels offer shuttle services to and from the airport, so be sure to ask! Sun Valley also offers a free bus system ( https://www.mountainrides.org/bus-routes-schedules-overview/ )! On Sunday, shuttles will be picking up at 3:40pm from three locations in Ketchum and Sun Valley: - Ketchum: Hotel Ketchum and the Limelight Hotel - Sun Valley Resort: the Baldy Bus Loop (a short walk from the Lodge lobby) Please note that masks will be required on board the shuttles. Thank you in advance! At the end of the evening, they will also be available to drive guests either to the bars or to back to their lodging in Sun Valley or Ketchum. For anyone who prefers to drive to the venue on Sunday, there is plenty of parking at Trail Creek Cabin and vehicles can be left overnight.

Question

What is the COVID situation in the area (Sun Valley, Ketchum, Blaine County)?

Answer

We are happy to report that after being a “hotspot” very early on in the pandemic, Blaine County is now a very careful and cautious valley. In fact, Blaine County residents now lead the US with an extremely high vaccination rate - over 90% of the eligible population is fully vaccinated!

Question

Is there a mask mandate? And any news about a vaccine mandate?

Answer

Sun Valley recently re-introduced a mask mandate for all indoor spaces when not eating or drinking. The local governments have discussed a potential vaccine mandate, but no official action has yet been taken there. We strongly support getting vaccinated against COVID-19 and being diligent about wearing a face covering indoors, and will welcome any safeguards or practices that will apply for our event.

Question

How large of a group will we be?

Answer

We are honored to celebrate with our closest friends and family - we expect around 100 guests in total, and have selected spaces for all events that allow for some level of distancing for a group of our size.

Question

What can I expect from the weekend's venues? Will they be indoor or outdoor? Private?

Answer

All of our wedding events will be held outdoors or mixed indoor / outdoor with large openings to encourage maximum airflow for those who choose to enjoy the indoor areas.

Question

What about Saturday's Welcome Party?

Answer

The Regans are thrilled to host a welcome celebration at Town Square Tavern in Ketchum beginning at 8pm. The venue will host only our event at that time (no other diners), with a large outdoor patio space, as well as a connected indoor space with open tall sliding doors to encourage airflow.

Question

What about the main event on Sunday?

Answer

The Jelacos have designed a beautiful space at the legendary Trail Creek Cabin for our ceremony and reception. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors on the lawn (weather permitting, otherwise, in the tent!). We then welcome you into the tent, also on the lawn with a brick paver floor, for a seated dinner. The tent is very spacious (it can accommodate over 300 guests at once), and has some openings in the flaps to encourage air flow. We encourage you to consider wedges or block heels to navigate the lawn, and while we will have heaters for the tent. It does get chilly on the mountains after sunset!

Question

And Monday's Farewell Brunch?

Answer

On Monday morning, our farewell brunch will be held at the Sun Valley Lodge Ram Restaurant - there are tables indoors, and also a large outdoor patio. We would love to see you for some buffet-style Idaho breakfast and coffee before you head out of town if travel plans permit.
