Where to Stay

For out of town guests, our parents live in Colorado Springs, we live in Westminster. The wedding venue is halfway between the two in Littleton, Colorado off of C-470. We are reserving a block of rooms at two hotels close to the venue and would highly recommend booking at least the wedding night at the hotel to avoid an hour and a half drive back to a hotel in Colorado Springs at 11 o clock at night. We would recommend staying in Littleton the night before the wedding too as the highway between Colorado Springs and Denver is starting to be like the 101 or 405 in California. As well, for those who we invite to the rehearsal dinner, we will be having that in the Littleton area the night before the wedding, and it would be much more convenient. If you need recommendations for hotels in Colorado Springs, please let us know and we can get you information.

Flight

Denver International Airport

We recommend flying into Denver International Airport. You can rent a car at the airport, and take E-470 or i-70 over to the Littleton area with a 35 mile (about 40-60 minute drive). You can usually get a cheaper flight from major airport to major airport, such as LAX to DIA. If you fly into the Colorado Springs airport, you will need to drive about 80 miles (anywhere from 90 -120 minutes). These flights can be pricier, and can also entail a layover in Denver before getting on a puddle jumper plane to the Springs.

Rental Car

Rent a Car

Renting a car in Colorado is rather necessary. The public transportation systems are still being developed and only serve the Denver Metro area. You should not have to worry about adverse weather in July, so you do not need to worry about renting all wheel drive, but if you are going into the mountains, rent something that can handle hills and dirt roads.
