Is there a dress code? The groom and groomsmen will be in black tie. We kindly ask men to wear suits and women to wear their best colourful outfits. The theme is florals/pastel/spring colours, so feel free to embrace it! We do ask that no one wears white or black, and please avoid trainers or joggers. Thank you! For evening guests please wear your usual party attire.

Question

3.

Answer

What time does it finish? The music will stop at midnight and guests will be expected to have left by 00:30.

Question

4.

Answer

What time do I need to get to the ceremony? We request that all guests are seated by 12.45. Please note that we will not be sitting down for the meal until 16.30 so ensure you get a good breakfast in the morning.

Question

5.

Answer

Is there parking at the Palm House? The journey from the church to the Palm House is around a 10 minute drive. If you wish to drive to the Palm House, there is free parking for 55 cars available at the venue until midnight. If you chose to travel by car, please use L17 1AL for a satellite navigation (NOT the Palm House's actual postcode which is L17 1AP as that brings you out at the wrong side of the iron bridge which you cannot drive across). There are several small free car parks dotted around the periphery of the park and also plenty of free on-street parking on both sides of the road which encircles the park if you wish to leave your car overnight.

Question

6.

Answer

What time does the night do start? The night do for guests joining us in the evening will start approximately at 7pm.

Question

7.

Answer

Can I bring a mate / plus one? As much as we'd love to include everyone, we've had to keep the guest list small so, unfortunately, this means we're unable to offer a plus one for the ceremony and reception. However, for the evening party please just ask one of us beforehand! We truly hope you understand, and we’re so grateful for your presence as part of our celebration x

Question

8.

Answer

What transport do I need to arrange? Most of the hotels that we have recommended are within walking distance of the church. Therefore we recommend booking a taxi from the church to the Palm House for around 2.30pm and then your taxi home. All the addresses you need are under the 'venue' tab. If you have been asked to stay at the Hope Street Hotel with us, transport is arranged for you for the day and you will just need to book your taxi home for the end of the night. A list of taxi companies can be found below: Delta Taxis Phone: 0151 924 7373 Website: www.deltataxis.net A1 Taxis Phone: +44 151 959 1111 Website: www.alpha-taxis.co.uk City Taxis Phone: +44 151 282 0900 Website: www.a1taxisliverpool.co.uk City Taxis Royal Taxis Phone: +44 151 259 9999 Website: www.royaltaxisliverpool.co.uk However ubers are pretty reliable in the city.

Question

9.

Answer

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding? As you can imagine, the day before we will be running around and doing last minute set ups/checks before the big day so we recommend you use the night before to get settled in your room and do some exploring! The day after we will be hosting an after party in our favourite pub. This will give everyone the chance to debrief and catch up with people they didn't get to speak to on the day. Details will be found under the After Party tab once all confirmed.

Question

10.

Answer

Can I bring my kids? We have decided to have a child free wedding so that everyone can enjoy themselves fully. Thank you for understanding.

Question

11.

Answer

What gifts should I bring? We are so excited to celebrate our special day with you, and truly, your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for. As we already live together, we’re not in need of traditional wedding gifts. However, if you feel inclined to give something, we would be incredibly grateful for contributions to our honeymoon fund. This would help us create lasting memories as we begin this new chapter of our lives together. Thank you for your love and support—we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
