Louie & Jade first met at a Friendsgiving gathering back in 2015. Louie was the new guy in the group & when Jade first saw Louie enter the room, all she remembered was his long hair and she felt butterflies that moment. Though Jade did try to make small talks to Louie, Louie was too shy and would make excuses to go outside with his friends. Jade felt Louie was not interested, but what she didn't know, Louie actually asked one of his friends about her, finding out she had a daughter, but that did not stop him from liking her. A week later, Jade DM Louie in Facebook but Louie was still too shy. Three weeks later they met again at Club 801 (an epic night), & the rest was History!

The time I started thinking about planning the proposal is when jade was pregnant with Kaila. That’s when I started saving so when the day comes it’ll be perfect. I wanted that moment to be special as she is to me, and I wanted it to include the people who means the most to us, our family and friends. I remember when I finally bought the ring, I ask her sisters to help plan the whole thing and like always they came in clutch and help me. When the day came I remember jade being so mad and irritated not knowing what’s going to happen haha. And here I am so nervous. But when we get there seeing the perfect set up and all the people the means everything to us it just made me relax and enjoy the moment. I remember walking jade in the dark with candles and rose petals on the floor and when we get to the end is a sign that says will you marry me? And there I just I remember looking at her in the eye and then kneeled and pop the question, Jade Andaya Will You Marry Me? With tears in her eyes and the biggest smile in her face she said YES. She made me the happiest person that day. -Louie Jade: Looking back, I remember my sister Crystal texting me days before about getting our nails done as a gift for me for Christmas. I hesitate at first but agreed since we were having a family Christmas Eve Party with both families. The day of December 24th, I remember I was pretty sad we changed our theme from Pajama to formal attire, my sister Irene's excuse was, "so we can take family pictures" aka so I can dress up for the proposal. I was running a little late and complained about my outfit to Louie, I was surprised he didn’t try to pick an outfit for me, he just kept saying “you look good.” When we arrived at the location, all I remember was walking into a dark room, Louie removing my purse from my shoulder and my sister pointing her phone directly to my face lol. Louie grabbed my hands and wrapped it around his arm, and slowly walked me down. Once I saw more of our family, red roses on the floor and music started to play, I started to cry, and it was not a cute cry at all. I could not stop shaking, I couldn’t believe he was about to kneel down in front of me and in front of our family.
