John and Sam met at Kutztown University in 2016. They both were on the school's quidditch team but never had a conversation. Fast forward to 2019, they were (finally) both single, Sam liked John's new facebook profile picture, and John messaged! After some talking, a few dates, and the start of the pandemic, they really started dating. Making it official July 4, 2020- and the rest is history!

After they made it "official", Sam and John became inseparable. John moved to Manayunk and adopted cats- which Sam fell in love with both the town and the furbabies! A year later, 2 more members moved into the Manayunk apartment- Sam and a crazy kitten named Adonis. They fill their time with going out around town, Philly sporting events, game nights, cooking, bar crawls, snuggling the furbabies, and hanging out with friends. It truly is a perfect life.

On August 25th, 2024, after coming home from a bridal shower, Sam came home to John down on one knee. Surprised is an understatment! (She was actually speechless) John was in their apartment, dressed up, surrounded by flowers and a homemade sign and asked her to marry him. It was the most perfect proposal that John could have done and of course- SHE SAID YES!!
