How will the event unfold?

Answer

While the ceremony itself will be intimate, we are inviting all to join us for a wedding reception. Guests will arrive for cocktail hour an hour before the reception. Then you will find your seats at the reception terrace before the wedding procession. We'll dine as the sun sets and dance as the moon rises. How’s the weather?

Late May is early summer in Southern California. It is warm throughout the evening but a light jacket or cape may be appropriate for folks who run cold. We will update this page with more accurate information closer to the date.

What's the venue like?

Answer

We're getting married in a small town in the foothills of the San Bernardino mountain range. It is an outdoor venue with an indoor contingency plan for rain. While the grounds are paved, it is a beautiful hillside complex so those who wish to explore the venue should wear shoes that accommodate a hilly walk.

Serendipity Gardens is in Oak Glen, California; a quaint agricultural community nestled in the foothills. Oak Glen is famous for it's apple season in the fall, but there are still things to do in the springtime. Check out their website for seasonal offerings: https://www.oakglen.net/seasons.
