Your presence on our special day is all we ask, but those who are inclined to gifting can contribute to our honeymoon fund to Japan. We plan to eat great food in Osaka, relax at ryokan onsen in Arima, collect goshuin at shrines in Kyoto, and explore the different neighborhoods in Tokyo. See the registry tab for more information.

Do you have a room block?

While we do not have a room block reservation, the Ayres Hotel will provide a discount if you book via phone and mention that you are attending a wedding at Serendipity Garden. How will the event unfold?
Answer
While the ceremony itself will be intimate, we are inviting all to join us for a wedding reception. Guests will arrive for cocktails before the reception. Then you will find your seats at the reception terrace before the wedding procession. We'll dine as the sun sets and dance as the moon rises. Feel free to check out the schedule for more information.

Garden party attire, semi-formal. We encourage everyone to embrace a colorful palette!

What's the venue like?
Answer
We're getting married in a small town in the foothills of the San Bernardino mountain range. It is an outdoor venue with an indoor contingency plan for rain. While the grounds are paved, it is a beautiful hillside complex so those who wish to explore the venue should wear shoes that accommodate a hilly walk.

Late May is early summer in Southern California. It is warm throughout the evening but a light jacket or cape may be appropriate for folks who run cold. We will update this page with more accurate information closer to the date.

Serendipity Gardens is in Oak Glen, California; a quaint agricultural community nestled in the foothills. Oak Glen is famous for it's apple season in the fall, but there are still things to do in the springtime. Check out their website for seasonal offerings: https://www.oakglen.net/seasons. We recommend stopping by Mom's Orchard and Holy Honey!
