Monica & Eduardo’s love story is one for the modern ages, they met by swiping right on Bumble. Their first date was April 21st, 2023 at Nisi Greek Taverna in Schererville, Indiana. Eduardo was quite shy at first, stunned by Monica’s beauty. After some light conversation, they quickly dove into deep topics, starting with childhood stories, all the way upto current life plans. After closing out the restaurant, Eduardo asked if monica would be interested in seeing him again. Of course she said yes! The next two years included trips together, holidays with family, and they both settled into new jobs before Eduardo found the right moment to propose. The proposal was a complete shock to Monica. Though they had talked of marriage and next steps, she did not expect it when it happened. Eduardo proposed at home with only Monica’s sister Sofia as witness (to record it of course). He got down on one knee, and asked if monica would spend the rest of her life with him. After crying and a few “oh my gods!” She said yes, and the couple embraced each other with joy and laughter. Some of you may not know, but the couple is already legally married! After a mere 3 week engagement, the couple decided “why wait!?”. In only one week, the pair planned an intimate ceremony and dinner with only immediate family members on April 19, 2025, almost exactly 2 years after their first date. It was perfect, and added yet another anniversary to be celebrated. We look forward to celebrating our love story with all of you at our wedding this summer. Con mucho amor, Monica & Eduardo.
